Former SCARVE Singer: '2007 Is Damned. Hail 2008!'

Former SCARVE and current PHAZM vocalist Pierrick Valence has issued the following update:

"2007's been a fucking nightmare. The year of all changes, bad news and near-death experiences.

"I left SCARVE after six years of pure joy and musical hopes.

"We'd been together through the best and the worst. We traveled the world from France to Iceland, with the best bands like MESHUGGAH and NILE. We did many big festivals. It was a premiere for a French band. We were a family.

"This is all about the past now, and the end of the story is such a stupid drama I don't wanna think about it anymore. At least I'm trying not to...

"I would just add something here, and believe me, I mean this. The last 10 months were a real nightmare. I went through a big depression because of one of my ancient brother. He openly betrayed me, with the most disrespect a man can show. He forgot about everything that built a strong friendship between two musicians living on the road together and helping each others, recording albums and sharing the same goal. He erased thousands of memories and left me behind like a vulgar stranger. No explanation, not a single goddamn phone call, just lies and hate.

"May he be happy where he is, may he be famous for what he's not rather than hated for what he is. I don't care. But let him stay out of my way. Forever.

"PHAZM's last European tour had been a real chaotic adventure. We've been on the road with the mighty DECAPITATED. I think most of you readers know about what not so long ago happened to the band. I feel strange about it, as it really could have happened during the infernal journey we went together.

"My deepest thoughts goes one more time to Vitek (R.I.P),Covan, and of course to the rest of their crew and families.

"Other 2007 bad memories could be told here, but it's mainly about my private life; why am I writing this? Should I shut the fuck up? Only thing I know is I'm feeling a little bit better now, and if something's wrong with you, don't read me and fuck off.

"I know 2008 will be a better year, and I hope to get rid of my demons by the first day of this year.

"PHAZM will record its third album in February, gathering in the same package all my anger, hate, despair, hopes, strengh I can hold.

"2007 is damned. Hail 2008!"
